"I've always respected Blondie as a singles band and pick any one of the plethora of Blondie Best Of's out there and you've got yourself a slam dunk winner
Having said that 'Parallel Lines' is a great album as an album and is easily their best
'Parallel Lines' is some thing of a strange beast that some how works brilliantly with not 1 but 2 obscure Nerves covers in opener "Hanging on the Telephone" and side 2 opener "Will Anything Happen?" , plus a 3rd cover version this time Buddy Holly's "I'm Gonna Love You Too". The album also includes IMHO 2 perfect 100/100 tracks in "Picture This" and the legendary "Heart of Glass"
