I know a lot of people are gonna hate on me for saying this, but while I certainly love this hip-hop album, I find it to be kinda overrated nowadays.

Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde came out the same year, and is an exponentially better record. Unfortunately, even most serious hip-hoppers have never heard of this album.

Everyone, listen to it NAO.[/b]

The Pharcyde's album came out a year later. I like that album a lot, but The Low End Theory is my favourite album of the 90's.

there are like 5 best songs on this record, just like most top records. Naples, one of your 5 word posts is worse than the whole iron maiden thread. PLease stop.

take your own advice and "please stop", i'm sick of having nearly every best album of the day thread turn into a naples argument.

The bassline on "Buggin' Out" is an absolute killer. Anybody know where it was sampled from ?
Anyway, great record.

You can't seriously like music and deny the genius of this album. Jazz (we've got) is a lesson of rhyme and tempo , and makes alone this album the one of the greatest ever. Impeccable !
