Alex Chilton was amazing. This was even better when they made it and Radio City into a twofer.

I could listen to Watch the Sunrise and Ballad of Goodoo over and over and over. It manages to be both of its time and timeless at the same time. Fantastic album! It's got everything:memphis soul inflected power pop, acoustic folk rock gems, and even some glammy rockers. If you're an R.E.M. fan, Teenage Fanclub fan or fan of classic British pop rock, you need to get this in your collection!
