Went to see where my chart was on the overall rank of charts and it showed that I have not rated ANY chart on the site besides two.

Can my ratings be recovered or do I start again?

I can't remember clearly, but were you one of the people who asked for their ratings to be deleted at some point in the past? It does look like you've only rated two member charts. I'd have to check the database to find out more details, but I'm on the road the next couple of days so it might not be straight away.

EDIT: Just checked. You've rated 16 recognised charts in addition to the 2 member charts. but only the member chart ratings are showing (something I need to fix - added to the list for this month).

I don't think I asked for my ratings to be reset. Maybe I did...?

On this topic...

I just deleted some of my decade charts, and now all my ratings of other charts have disappeared (again)! - except for 3 ratings for the 'official' magazine lists (e.g. Rolling Stone, NME).
Is there anyway you can restore them?

Anyway, this should be a high priority fix.

I've temporarily disabled this behaviour until I get time to fix it properly. I can do a restore, but you'll have to bear with me while I do this as it takes quite a while to through the backup files, and I'm travelling most of tomorrow.

Now that there are decade charts, the 'can't rate other charts unless you've made one yourself' rule is far more complicated. I'm not sure if this should be a 'like for like' rule e.g. you can't rate a 70s chart unless you have a 70s chart, or make it that you can rate any chart so long as you have at least one of your own. Regardless, the delete won't happen any more.

meh, this topic is similar enough. There's just a few small things that I've noticed about charts...

(1) on my chart (at least), the number of ratings reported at the top of the page, the number of ratings reported just above the ratings section, and the actual number of ratings I have (counting the ignored ones) are all different.

(2) on a few charts I've noticed that the similar charts function isn't updating.

and finally, (3) where did the chart of the day go?

I should mention that I noticed the first two things a couple days before the switch to new servers, but perhaps some preparatory work for the switch affected this.

no chart of the day today, it'll start again tomorrow.

the site is running on completely different servers compared to yesterday (the site has moved about 4,000 kilometres). yes. I did stop a few services before the move.

It sounds like some stats are out of sync. I'll run something in the background which should hopefully get these back to normal...

It looks like the number at the top of the screen is excluding 'ignored' ratings, but the number at the bottom isn't. The ignored ratings should be included in the total ratings received but excluded from the average. The correct number of ratings is 12 (10 + 2 ignored). This is a bug, and not to do with the move, and I'll get it fixed.
