This is solid and it gives me some stuff to check out. I don't think Magical Mystery Tour quite meets the test of being a real album. That's not all that important, but it did occur to me.

Yes, it isn't important, because for one it has now become a part of their catalogue, and anyways, it's better than most of their other albums.

My understanding was that it became a part of the catalogue when the albums were released as CDs in the 80s.I guess that feels like a decision made later by individuals in the interest of making money, rather than accuracy. You're right, though, I didn't know that until later and it is a very good album.

Yeah, well, we can't do anything about that, can we?

And anyway, I think it is kinda valid because none of the songs appear on other albums. More than you can say about Yellow Submarine.
