I could swear "Creep" reached #1 too...but I admit it was a long time ago so my memory is faded.

Pearl Jam never had a #1 single, far as I can remember, despite having a number of #1 albums.

Depeche Mode has a ton of top-10 singles, but never reached #1 on the U.S. or U.K. pop charts (they did in some other countries, but I'm guessing we're not discussing those). They have scored several #1s on the dance and modern rock charts, though.

I think we should judge by just the main chart of a given country, not any genre charts like Mainstream Rock.
