I haven't seen a sniff about the NBA on this site... does anyone care?
This year's final could shape up to be one for the ages: The youth and speed or Oklahoma vs the star power of Miami. Durant (scoring champ) vs Lebron (MVP). OKC's tough interior (Ibaka, Collison, Perkins) vs Miami's finesse posts (Bosh, Battier). The quiet success of the Thunder vs the egos of Miami.

I say go Thunder.
I'm a Celtics fan. Can't really explain why, coming from middle England and never having visited Boston. It's just that when I got into basketball I really enjoyed watching the Celtics for the trio of KG, Pierce and Allen. The emergence of Rondo as one of the most inventive players around (and, to my mind, the best passer of the ball in the NBA) has also been great to watch. I really hope Oklahoma win. Miami are a team of egotists who have never really been able to gel properly - it's just that with that amount of talent on the court, they are always in with a chance.

The perception of Miami being a team of egos: a common thought, and it seems an accurate one. Lebron did himself no favours when he staged that ridiculous 'decision broadcast'. Wade and Bosh are good players, but both flop and whine.
Rondo is fantastic. However, the fact that he and Garnett stormed off the court at the end of the Miami series showed no class. I'd argue that Steve Nash is a much better playmaker, even if he's slowing down with age.
