Today, I was at the thrift store where I work. We got a new box of CD's which are usually very bad albums. But this box was filled with good albums from any genre. I found a copy of Bat Out of Hell in the box. It was almost a first edition CD! It was a 1990's copy! My favorite album at the thrift store where we usually get stuff nobody uses, and we get a near first edition copy of my favorite album in the least expected of places.

I was playing guitar from my crutch at school and then a teacher walked in. Playing Back In Black between your legs is actually rather easy.

Nothing really musically related, but I ran into Jack White and the Raconteurs one day at lunch. I was in Starbucks and here comes this tall dude all in black, and it took a few seconds before it dawned on me, "That Fucking JACK WHITE!!?!??" And then I went and met him. They were jut chilling in the area around St. Louis where they were playing later that night.
He was/is still one of my musical heroes. So it was pretty badass! _________________ -Ryan

I got to meet the Scenes from a Memory through Black Clouds-era members of Dream Theater, and even got a guitar pick signed by John Petrucci I was pretty pissed, though, we never got the pictures we took with them. It was bullshit.

I jammed with Ash Grunwald at a music store once. That was pretty sick.

Was a fresh breath of air I guess, though we completely sucked. We introduced ourself as The Beatles and also used stuffed bird with bird sounds during the performance. We got kicked off stage when people were finished laughing and got annoyed instead |
Borve Baunehoj wrote: | Real sick music performance I had with two friends on talent night on my school. What happened in chronological order:
- Friend plays dramatic bongo drums, other friend plays dramatic synths, I eat potatoes with a fork and makes chewing noises into a microphone
- I pick up my guitar, while my two friends continue doing their stuff. Our sound tech later said that I "raped" my guitar my. I beat it to death with the fork and bumped randomly in to it. Two strings broke and it got real out of tuning. Apparently there were teachers among the audience who were terrified because they thought the guitar belonged to the school
- I laid the guitar, pick up the microphone and do an evil shriek, then pick my guitar up again and continuing the so-called raping
- My friend on bongo drums starts making really loud and scary sounds and roars into the microphone, while the guitar and synthesizer continues
- I laid the guitar again, and take the role on synthesizer where I play some banging shit while dancing
- Friend on synthesizer take the microphone and performs some freestyle power metal screams. Then he gets confused, starts to move weird and tells the audience to start dancing
- Then we got kicked off stage. We received exactly zero applause
Edit: Forgot to mention that I at times duirng guitar raping ate more potates and played with a bag over my head |

Also I once remixed Crystal Mountain by Death so that it sounded like an airplane engine or something. Then I sang a free interpretation of Birthday Song by 2 Chainz on top of it

One of my best friends grandfather is John Fogerty, I've met him multiple times, and even had dinner with him once. I got him to sign my copy of the Sound city Soundtrack.

Oh fuck I'm jealous.
Also, my roommate from last year's dad was the pilot for Metallica. It was heartbreaking because my roommate has been backstage to Metallica shows and stuff. Twist: That little fucker doesn't even like Metallica! I hated him. _________________
