I've heard all these albums 😄 And I actually thought about it for a while 🤣
I ended up gong with Vampire Weekend because of their stunning debut, but Bon Iver was a close second.

On this list I would pick Vampire Weekend.
However, if The Shins qualify for this discussion (not sure if they're recent enough), then without a doubt they would take it for me. Whether its Oh, Inverted World and Chutes Too Narrow, or Chutes Too Narrow and Wincing The Night Away. All amazing albums.

Depending if the new xx album is as good as their debut, they'd win it for me. _________________ Doubles & Conch

I think all these groups/albums are mostly not very good . Vampire Weekend "win" by virtue of one good and one average album.

Went with Dirty Projectors, but both 'Tigermilk'/'If You're Feeling Sinister' and 'Today'/'On Fire' are better back-to-back indie pop albums.

Well duh. Those are better than any back to back albums. Any artist included.
