AOL poll 2008 (136,000 votes) shows that 81% of people think Earth has been visited by aliens.
MSNBC poll 2008 (20,663 responses) 61% of people believe U.F.O.'s exist and have visited us.Plus another 25% saying maybe they have.

Have we seen an alien craft here on Earth? Personally, I don't think so. There are some enormous physical barriers to overcome to get from one galaxy to another and I just don't think it's possible.

I'm pretty certain that that the science fiction writers conception is different from reality. If they exist at all, I'd imagine them to be unmanned scouting craft.

I'm guessing most sightings could be explained by military or unusual weather phenomena (such as ball lightning).

If they are real, then they are not from this solar system since we have scouted most planets using probes and not found evidence of intelligent life.

Any craft travelling from within our own galaxy and outside of our solar system would have to be travelling faster than the speed of light, or using a technology that we do not understand yet. Once you have a craft that is not bound by our own understanding of the laws of physics, it would not be precluded from coming from anywhere (inside or outside our galaxy).

I'm not going to answer question by question, but I'll give a summation of my thoughts.
I don't believe in U.F.O.s as most might think of them, anything flying around in our atmosphere is a flying animal or a human-made machine. If it looks weird, it might be an experimental craft.
I do believe in life in other solar systems, maybe even on other planets within our own. I also believe this life is most likely non-intelligent, and most likely bacterial.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Personally I feel RFNAPLES was being disrespectful, or at the very least facetious. I don't have a problem with that really. But,as I previously stated, It's messed up in my opinion that the very first post is one that is full of mockeries desguised as legitimacy. It's no secret that I'm often the odd man out on this site and in these forums. Yes to many of the people on here, the majority of whom are in their 20's , my musical tastes and my overall take on the world that we live in are strange and coming out of left field. But isn't variety the spice of life ? Some people have even posted comments that they are glad I have come into the forums and have shakin things up a bit on here. I believe the whole can be greater than the some of the parts on here. I can turn people onto what I believe and they can do likewise. I had no clue as to what the band Arctic Monkeys were until someone on this site suggested I give them a try because they could tell by what they knew of my musical tastes I may enjoy them. So I did and I now do. Sorry about the space bar thing. Others have mentioned it to me also. I honestly don't know what's going on with my laptop. It has issues and so do I so,ya.
