i just finished listening to the leeked latest album of Swans and it's absolutely amazing. It's more than an album, it's a unique experience. each track is just breathtaking, with the epic 32mn long song, "The Seer", a masterpiece !
The album features a lot of prestigious collaborations as Karen O from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Low, Mercury Rev...
This has to be in the top 3 of the year ! i just can't see how can someone give less than 80/100 to this magnificent art work. So do yourself a favor and listen quickly to this album (well you can wait to the upcoming release date 28th August 😄 )
I've personally rated it 100/100 and it went straight the 2nd place of my all time favorite albums !

It may be stunning, but on the back of a couple listens (if that) how can it be your 2nd favourite album ever? You might genuinely believe it to objectively be the second best album of all time, but your 2nd favourite?

I have been listening to bits of it the last week or two. I don't like everything but I'm getting used to it. Probably one of the year's better albums but I might compare it unfavourably to their earlier stuff (maybe just because they are one of my favourite groups and I have high expectations).
I have not listened to the title track though....what is is like?
also I'm seeing them live in october which is very exciting 😎
