I'm a mix of Levels 1 to 4. I haven't really delved into Level 5 and beyond, but I do plan to. Cool

Furthest I have delved is dark ambient (level 6).

Thinking of looking at lowercase soon...

Haha Smile I had this saved in My Pictures folder a while ago.

Does Tuva Throat Singing count on the last? I guess not as I am still on this plain.

I've listened to a tid bit of Tuvan throat singing as well. Is Tibetan much different?

Anyway, while I'd personally reorder a few of those genres, I'm mostly a mix between 4 and 5 with some 3 and a somewhat decent amount of 6, delving occasionally into that last level (love Bernard Parmegiani). Gimme enough time and I'll probably be stuck on that infinity one. It's the most interesting to me yet I don't have the urge for it too much at the moment.

Reminds me of a rateyourmusic comment I added to one of the albums in my chart (album called "+/-" by Ryoji Ikeda). Here's the full quote:

"Well, I've got this tattooed friend of mine, who's got this theory concerning experimental electronic music.
Which he detests, I might add.
It goes like this:
That music is like a drug. You start out pretty easy, let's say drinking Music Has the Right to Children. But pretty soon, you want something heavier, more experimental. And you start smoking Tri Repetae. After a while, you get used to that to. You snort 94 Diskont. And before you know it, you're injecting Aaltopiiri into your foreskin.
I've always said that he don't t know what he's talking about. But now that I find myself listening to +/-, I get this feeling that he was right all along. I mean, this album consists of ridiculously high pitched pulses and tones, beating at a horribly high rate, and slow, slow reverbs humming. It's so far away from the general definition of music, that it's hard to comprehend. Ikeda himself is talking about that there's so high and so low frequencies on the recording, that you can't even hear them. Well, what the fuck is the point then? The speakers can't even transfer those tones.
But I do listen to it now and then. Though I can't say why.
So hello, my name is Fredrik. And I have an addiction."

You're pretty much an outsider if you listen to country and jazz
