Open thread to all those willing to make a tournament:
Just do what you want to do, whenever.
If people get confused, maybe take some time to process what you are reading before making a vote.
If there are matchups that go to the next page, click on the next page.
If you slow down in your running of your tournament, we should all remember that lives do exist outside of BEA (maybe not as important, but still a life.)

And one crucial thing: TOURNAMENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN!!!!!
Actually interested in starting a tourney sometime in the future (though definitely not till these two are near the finish line), but only if people don't take it so seriously that we all get angry with each other. the one tournament Ive been around for before the current ones (the female musician tournament) was run very smoothly and people behaved liked adults throughout the whole thing (even when Newsom was knocked out), I just don't really see why this year tournament has gotten a bit out of hand. It's a lot of fun and the users definitely seem to be really engaged in it, it's just unfortunate that it's getting derailed by some unneeded animosity. Even with that it's going really well so far, so my only advice is DON'T LET THINGS STAY IDLE FOR TOO LONG!
Two tournaments running at one time is cool, I don't find it confusing. For future ideas, with the new world album of the day feature, a world album or world artist tournament could be interesting. And I wouldn't mind organizing it myself

Agreed. I think we could definitely have both of the current tournaments active at the same time. I've very much been enjoying the best year tournament so far, even if my teams are getting rocked. We can always have the tournaments alternate so that while one round is active for one tournament, the other is on a break until that round is finished. That shouldn't leave either idle for too long. Either that or just keep them both active, it isn't the biggest deal to have to click on "2" and go to the second page to find a matchup.

By the way Harkan, did you intentionally write the third poll option to mean "confused either way"? You are an English teacher after all, I'm sure you know what you're doing. 😉
