There were a few albums there I could vote for... Think

But I'd say Jon Spencer, Fiona Apple and the Shins all deserve mention. Check out the forums for what members think is great - 2012 in music is a good one, or look at members 2012 charts.

None of those are top-material, IMO. Maybe Muse, but I haven't really listened to it profoundly yet.

My poll would include Grizzly Bear, Beach House, Fiona Apple, Shins, Dirty Projectors, Swans, Animal Collective, Django Django, Jack White. With some luck also, maybe, if everything else fails, Ian Anderson and Alabama Shakes.

Amazing year for music.
