I'm still not entirely sure what falls into the gerne. What I think that does:

- This 'build up build up build up build up build up build up BOOM crescendo' style
- Atmospheric rock music (heavy on ambient and/or drone music)
- Instrumental slowcore
- Math rock which isn't associated with indie rock, noise rock or hardcore
- Classical music with rock instrumentation
- Post-krautrock

Probably other stuff too

Sounds nothing like any other post-rock, except for Spirit of Eden, but whatever, its still labeled post-rock. But among more "normal" post-rock, my favorite is:



I especially love the 2nd track. One of the few times (granted with stolen lyrics) that godspeed's politics are anywhere close to being "clear".
