Can anyone recommend me some mid/slow paced jazz with a kind of hypnotic groove to it? I know it's a bit vague and there's probably a lot of it out there but I'm new to jazz so I don't know where to look. I really enjoy A Love Supreme, Journey in Satchidananda, Laughing Stock and Spirit of Eden. I've tried In a Silent Way and liked it, but I don't really get the unique feeling from that as the albums I mentioned before. Thanks.

Try these:
    Ayler, Albert-Spiritual Unity
    Davis Sextet, Miles-Milestones
    Davis, Miles-Kind Of Blue
    Dolphy, Eric-Out To Lunch
    Hancock, Herbie-Empyrean Isles

Saibou Bungaku - Saibou Bungaku

For if you want something that's chill yet emotionally driven. It's not Jazz, though.
