I took this yesterday after finding it through Magenta. Before my digital collection went into limbo, I owned 76 of these. Last night I found this gem from the list:
I plan on using the rest of that list as a kind of rec guide. I also think I posted the only positive comment on there too, with a few albums I would have liked to have seen. People don't realize that you'll never please all tastes with just 100 albums.

It's sure not going to please everyone, but it is a very interesting list. And yeah...with just 100, there are thousands that get left off.

I think it's a cool list.If it was a chart on here,it would be right up there with the best.
Influence is probably the hardest thing to measure in respect to music and I don't think lists like this are worth a thing to be honest,other than obviously introducing people to great albums.

Do it whatever way you want I guess, people seem to either be marking the albums they have listened to or the albums they actually own. _________________
