I was wondering what some of your favorite album titles are. You don't even have to like the album. But I'm curious what factors make an albums title memorable or particularly interesting.
Some of my favorites:
I like these cause they're cheap zingers that make me smile:

Caravan-If I Could Do It All Over Again I'd Do It All Over You

Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention- We're Only In It For the Money

Paul Simon- There Goes Rhymin' Simon

Rolling Stones- Let it Bleed

I like these because they accurately describe the contents of the album:

Bob Dylan- Blood On The Tracks

My Bloody Valentine- Loveless

Syd Barret- The Madcap Laughs

Big Black- Songs About Fucking

Robert Wyatt- Rock Bottom

I like these because they illicit a unique emotional response when I hear them:

Sonic Youth- Daydream Nation

Frank Sinatra- Sings For Only the Lonely

Notorious B.I.G.- Ready To Die

Leonard Cohen- Death of a Ladies Man

Sly and the Family Stone- There's a Riot Goin' On

LOL I feel kind of dumb for having never thought of Blonde on Blonde in that way. That title always brought some sort of textural image to mind, sometimes you overlook the most obvious thing about something when you've already defined and categorized it in your mind....heh Chuck Berry porn
