The old 2011 film thread got buried. Well, it's about time we had a new film thread. Let's talk movies, BEA.
So far this year my favourite movie is this Taiwanese bildungsroman children's film called "Starry Starry Night" and it's like a Taiwanese crossover of Amelie, Eternal Sunshine and Vincent Van Gogh. It also made me CRY LIKE A LITTLE BITCH. Check this trailer.

All 10 of these are really good but I kinda hope only the top 2 are in my top 10 by the end of the year (2 of them (Looper and Beasts) I've only seen recently though so probably need more time to process).
Also I don't think I've ever looked forward to anything as much as I'm looking forward to The Master.

I really wanted to see Moonrise Kingdom, but neither of my local cinemas were showing it and once you've added in the cost of public transport to go to another cinema then it's better value just to go to the pub. I love Wes Anderson too. Really should've just gone before it stopped showing.
