Jason brought this up in another thread, but is their any reason that the only "groups" in the forum is the moderators, because I think it would be pretty cool to have groups as a full fledged feature.

Yeah, I would say that there are more or less social groups already, so why not just have actual forum groups.
We already have a button for it, right in between members and profile.

This forum uses phpBB as the underlying software. Groups in phpBB are just a way of organising users in terms of security and access rights. They don't have the functionality that people are talking about here. I also would be a bit tentative about using them in the way that is being spoken about, for the reasons alluded to in the last couple of posts. There might be other ways of doing this, but more across the site as a whole rather than just on the forums.
