The only full Clapton album I've heard was Layla, when he was in D&TD.

He has an Unplugged concert with MTV released in the 90's. I actually think it's his best work by a long shot. You might like it ๐Ÿ˜„

I have that album... I like it but I'll have to agree with JMan here. Or actually I think technically he'e agreeing with me. D&TD work is the best I think. Actually I'll take Disraeli Gears over the Unplugged. It's great, but I just think Clapton is most comfortable with an electric in his hands.

Just listened to new album, and it was really a pop/rock album with no real classic clapton guitar. Rubbish.

Personally, I love almost all of Eric Claptons work, but admit his solo albums can be a bit hit and miss. Best Clapton is D&D, with Disraeli Gears and Crossroads not too far behind.

Unplugged album was really good though, and the first track Signe was the first Clapton I learnt on guitar and it's a really killer tune.

Out of curiosity, does anyone here like Santana? I used to be a fan.

It's when you say things like this that make me want to hug you.

I love Santana. I've actually found his music the best to study to.
