But in all seriousness, "The Soft bulletin" as of now is in the top 5 for me most overhyped albums ever made. And the thing is I feel there is just something I'm missing. I never understood that album or any Flaming Lips album I've heard as being much better than "pretty darn good". The song "Waiting for Superman" is amazing. The rest never impressed me. Perhaps on the aotd when The Soft Bulletin is chosen, or on it's 14 anniversary ill give it another spin.
