This sounds much better than anything from last year's Valtari which was hugely disappointing. Still, I really wish they would do more 3 or 4 minute long tracks instead of the usual 7 or 8 minute long ones that tend to drag on and become boring after a while!

The news of Sigur Ros releasing a new album this year was like a punch to the chest, so immense. The direction the band is taking is really something extraordinary, the depature of Kjarri may have been a breath of fresh air for the band.

Deerhunter, Danny Brown, Tyler, Earl, Queens of the Stone Age come to mind 😄 And now Sigur Ros.
