I was surprised to see it ranked barely in the top 1000. When I was getting into classic rock and just guitar, this album and especially "Machine Gun" was like the pinnacle of badass guitar playing!
This album wipes it's as with most other guitar jam
Records. I'm talking to you Allman Brothers band!

Wow, I didn't even know this existed. Maybe I knew once upon a time, but I never hear anything about it, so in that case I've forgotten. In any case, Jimi is not quite my cup of tea.

I dig. If You get a chance try listening to just Machine Gun. That may be something that will blow you away. But I get not being a Jimi fan. I wasn't for years either.
