Heavy, pure, blues based, riff rock, testosterone soaked, screeching, slamming, bashing, FUCKING ROCKING CLASSIC!!!! Hell yeah!!!!
Anyway, yeah, I'm not a huge Zeppelin fan, but I respect them and I really like this album.
The solos on Whole Lotta Love when Jimmy Page goes back and forth between smashing your puny face in and taking sharp knives and puncturing holes in you, is one of the greatest and most glorious moments in mankind's history. It makes my dick hard just thinking about it! _________________ -Ryan

Great album, my second favorite LZ release. The Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid suite is breathtaking.

Just another brilliant album by Led Zeppelin. Absolutely flawless. This isn't my favorite by them, but this one oozes the most sexuality. Great riff album with Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker, Living Loving Maid, and Bring It On Home. Moby Dick is just such a smooth jam track. Thank You is simply one of the greatest romance songs ever. I think I'll listen to this now.
EDIT: I also love that little cough/laugh(?) that Robert Plant does to kick of the album. One of the best album intros and really sets the tone. _________________

Not better than their best album, Led Zeppelin 3 (objectively might I add), but still pretty damn good.

One of the most legendary and important bands of rock history and this is their best set. Pure rock n' roll heaven right there on record for anyone to enjoy.

I gotta give this a relisten. I recently heard LZ1 and ultimately loved it. Since this is supposedly a better album on BEA and it was better the first time I heard it, I might go through another Zeppelin marathon.
