Elephant is a fantastic record in my opinion, but I rate it behind De Stijl.
And Guitar Romantic is a fabulous pop/power punk album! It's so sad that they passed away in a car accident shortly after it came out. They had a bright future. _________________ -Ryan
Guitar Romantic is probably one of the greatest pop punk, power pop, or whatever you wanna call it releases. Within its genre, it shines, and I think it's a great album in general. Nice choice.
Elephant is one of those albums I can respect as long as you don't make me listen to it. Not to say there isn't good stuff on it. "Seven Nation Army" is a favorite of mine, as well as "You've Got Her in Your Pocket" and a couple of others, but the album as a whole bores me to death.
