A bit of filler on good news, but just an album full of catchy songs.
"Dance Hall" is awesome.

I agree it's not the well rounded masterpiece that M&A is, but yeah was so good at some points. And I remember really loving that album when it came out when I was like 15. Really good record.
And tool was pretty cool in their prime. Undertow I think is their best, I like it more than Aenema. "Sober" is, I feel, one of the most memorable rock songs of the 90s and when I was growing up.

I lurve GNFPWLBN. I'd rank it just below The Lonesome Crowded West. The 1, 2 hit of The World At Large and Float On is fantastic. And I'm always up for Blame It On The Tetons.
My thoughts on Tool have been expressed enough.

One is amazing, the other is tool
I'm actually seeing Modest Mouse on wednesday, Silverwalrus will be there, and I think captainfincus will be as well. and DBZ should be there but isnt because he's too cheap

Dance Hall and Devil's Workday are just okay, Bury Me With It And The View could be better, the short tracks are nice bits of fun. The rest of Good News is perfect. World At Large - Float On - Ocean Breathes Salty is on of the best three song stretches on any album. Bukowski and Satin In A Coffin keep the middle part of the album up to par, and the last 4 songs are all amazing. Fucking great record, just below Moon And Antarctica and Lonesome Crowded.

I like both those songs quite a bit, but I don't feel like they're as good as they could be. Dance Hall and Devil's Workday are my least favorite songs off the album, and even then I like them.
