Hi all,
Old newie on board.
Question: Is this the right place to make an enquiry about a non music album released late 1950's to mid 60's.
It was essentially a stereo demo album.

Sorry about that. I'll try using english.

These particular albums released in that time span demonstrated the development of stereo output thru speakers.
They had tracks of music, and sounds of, for example, trains pulling out of stations, and other activities. Any kind of sound in fact that could be split through the speakers left to right and back again.

Welcome mikes!

No this is the wrong place to ask about stereo test records, but I am familiar with them. There were even some issued on CD to test Home Theater.

I do remember seeing at least one of these test records here...someone entered one not too long ago. Would need more info about it, though.

Welcome to BEA!

I didn't know test records ever existed. What were they used for?
