I got a confession to make: I've never heard it. I really want to though. Gonna check it out tonight I think.
I really like Nashville Skyline a lot. Really well executed album, no wasted time )or very little) and its short as hell only 27 minutes of good straight forward country. _________________ -Ryan

I haven't listened to the Dylan album yet. From what I've heard by R.E.M. (everything up until Green, plus Automatic For The People), Reckoning is the worse, though still very good.

6. Eponymous
7. Life's Rich
8. Dead Letter
9. Out of Time

A corollary between these 2 albums is they are both often times overlooked very quality to classic albums by very very adored and respected artists. "Reckoning" is generally overshadowed by "Murmur" and "Automatic for the People" and sometimes others like "Lifes Rich Pageant". And "Nashville Skyline" although a really great album in my opinion is thoroughly overshadowed by a number of other Dylan albums, namely "Howheay 61", "Blonde On blonde" "Blood On The Tracks", "Bringing It All Back home", "Freewhewlin'", "Desire" "Time Out Of Mind" and some others.
REM is a band I really need to check out more of. None of their albums yet has "clicked". _________________ -Ryan

Totally agree. Reckoning is the most underrated R.E.M. album.

Not really into either. My dad actually just made fun of me last month when I told him I could not stand Skyline because of how different Dylan's voice is. His voice is much smoother on that record and Lay Lady Lay is my dad's favorite Dylan song.
The only REM album I really get into is Murmur. Automatic is a distant second.
