Note: will leave 12-24 hour "digestion period" before each polls open, to give participants a chance to catch up on albums they may have missed and for captains to promote their albums

This will probably present a bit of a problem to my fellow Madvillain, ptaylor89. That is The Horrors is one of his nominations in the PPNW tourney and it is up against this nomination on the new Millenial album tourney. Tough. Well, I still need to listen to primary Colours in full before I vote... but it will be tough for it to beat Is This It. Love Is This It to death. _________________ -Ryan
I really like Primary Colours but Is This It is one of my favourite albums of all time.

Then we move onto Primary Colours,my favourite of the band's albums, here we see the band draw influence from MBV,Jesus and The Mary Chain, etc. and it shows,it's not as atmospheric as Skying but rather like the previously mentioned bands the sounds the band creates are huge and they have never been bettered.Who doesn't love some shoegazed laden post punk? The answer nobody. You should definitely check this album out,if you haven't already.

Mercury, you should still give a listen to them I think. I really like Is This It too, but like Norman said, The Horrors are something else. You may already know that, but it's really like a mix between Joy Division and My Bloody Valentine, which at the end makes a very interesting album, as much at the level of the voice and the melodies than at the level of the sound, with powerful drums and very distorded guitars.
I'll still put here my favorites songs from the records :
If anyone can think of other stand-out tracks from the album, I'd be glad if they posted them here

No, it is DLGGLD's nomination. I mean, he's swell but, I don't know enough about punk yet to participate in the other tournament. This will not be a tough match but The Horrors seem great. I gave my first listen to the.pm yesterday. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ptaylor1989
