Haven't hear the Agalloch album yet, il do that soon, but it will be hard for it to beat In Rainbows.

Heard both. One I've heard probably 15 times, and one I've heard
Once. One I thought was a real good metal album and one is on my chart and all.

Pretty easy choice for me.

The Mantle is pretty dope. I know it won't win (despite being the superior album, objectively of course), but I'm certainly voting for it.

To be fair, it'd be difficult to be worse than In Rainbows (though I can name about 20 or so albums I dislike more).

Since I haven't listened to it in a while, I tried The Mantle again. I find it incredibly boring now. I used to enjoy it so I wonder what caused this change of heart.

I loved In Rainbows at first, and I still enjoy it now overall. I like it slightly less now probably because I've heard King of Limbs, which may be a sister album to it in a way but the songs could be of higher quality.

I love The Mantle musically, but could never handle the vocal affectations. In Rainbows is easily one of my favorite records, so In Rainbows by a landslide.

Oh sweet I've already heard both of these. Easily The Mantle for me. It was a really pleasant surprise. I recommend it for anyone that likes ambient music.
