Dammit, I clicked on the link to see what it was and it was a file. You bastard. Now I'll have to listen to your Russian shit. Pfft.
Not so much "russian music", just an album by a band based in Russia (as far as my knowledge) who are, of course, Russian.
That being said, it's more chamber pop, Indie folk, Indie, and what not than anything. Just a really nice listen. I wouldn't say it's anything groundbreaking, probably not exactly new stuff either, just a quality release (or is it a release? I dunno) of a certain genre that happens to be by a Russian band.
That being said, I do believe the vocals distinguish them-self from most releases like this.

Well I'll gladly listen to it. I've put it in the "Happymeal's recs" section of my brain. And on my iTunes, too.
Edit : wow is this really the name of the band? It's damn long. Thanks anyway
Last year, hip-hop producer The Alchemist released an excellent album called Russian Roulette. It featured dozens of rappers, but perhaps the most interesting thing about the album was the idea behind it. Every sample on the record is from Russian music. Whilst on tour in Russia, The Alchemist put out messages to his Russian fans on Facebook to steal/bring their parents' old Russian records to the gigs in exchange for free entry. He then took them back to America and began to craft the album. Definitely worth a listen if you haven't already heard it. Last year The Alchemist was probably my favourite producer in all of hip-hop, and this album is a great example as to why. The sheer amount of rappers means that it shouldn't be as cohesive as it is, but the beats create a really nice arc from start to finish, and the album is an extremely satisfying listen. Highly recommended.
I haven't really listened to any Russian music that isn't just generic electronica/house music (and Pussy Riot, who I decided really aren't that good).
