I have to say being introduced to this site has been the single most unique experience in my "internet life". I was mentioned from a previous website with fond memories and someone messaged me out of nowhere on Rateyourmusic a few hours ago and I took it up to joining. I like blabbering about organized (and disorganized) sound.
I've been blogging and listening to music since I was a know-all obnoxious twit of a teenager in 2005, which is really the period where my "obsessive" music exploration started which eventually segwayed into being into music history, classification, and watnot around 2007. I've been on rateyourmusic, purevolume, myspace, last.fm, the rock band forums; and an assortment of smaller subforums regaling about the subject.
My musical preferences are all over the place as I truly believe in musical variance and tolerance. I try to challenge and understand whilst being an adult about discussing the subject. There are triggers that turn me into a snippy sarcastic twit though, but I try to just ignore condescending and patronizing behaviors altogether these days.
