Father, astronomer, and a music lover pleased to meet y'all. Love the main site and have enjoyed reading the forums as well. I grew up on the Beatles and mainstream alternative, but have branched out considerably in subsequent years. I'll listen to just about anything now, but still prefer rock music (whatever that means nowadays).

These days, rock music is either old guys trying to put put an album and rarely succeeding (Sting in the Tail, A Different Kind of Truth), alternative rock (3 Doors Down, Nickleback) or German techno-metal (Rammstien).

Anyway, welcome to the site!

Does that include Scorpions (Sting in the Tail) and Van Halen (A Different Kind of Truth)?
