Hi,
My name is Jhereko.
I'm a pedobear,
That likes post-punk.
War is overrated.
It's for hipsters.
Look at me,
I'm more cool than Bono.

I own this album but I haven't listened to it yet. I really enjoy War, so I should probably give it a spin.

Any thoughts from people who enjoy U2?

This album is great. On par with War (IMO). It's even a bit "post-punk-ish".. In a way. It has this energy to it that they later lost.

Also, thejoj is retarded.

Yes. Do it. Boy is the sound of a brand new U2 who's hungry to prove themselves but before they got full of themselves.

Don't quite understand the hatred of U2 on this site. Very good band IMO. Loved the early stuff (I'm old enough to be into them "before they were famous"). Listen to Under A Blood Red Sky. Fantastic live album. I'm told that I saw them playing a small club in London in around 1980 / 81. Like much of the early '80, it's a blur. I understand from my less wasted mates that they were great. Wish I hadn't destroyed my memory.
