Really fun album, nothing earth-shattering - I would expect nothing more or less from McCartney.

The closest Paul ever came to a solo masterpiece. And it's not that close to it. Jet, Let Me Roll It and Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five are his best moments on record. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Paul's post-Beatles work is spotty to me, but Band On The Run is easily the high water mark and the album that showed he was capable of greatness without John.
