Both Spirit Of Eden and Laughing Stock are amazing albums, but I slightly prefer Laughing Stock. Both albums are masterpieces though, I just find Laughing Stock to have fully fleshed out the ideas on Spirit Of Eden.

Great album, but I think Laughing Stock feels more sure of itself, and more mature an album.
Infact I prefer Colour of Spring to this as well.

So... this is Eden. Will 1,000th AOTD be us cast from Eden? 🤔

Um, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this album. I've only listened to it once, and, despite my adoration for Laughing Stock, it didn't make much of an impression on me. It felt a little underdeveloped and, like Puncture Repair said, less sure of itself than its successor. Maybe I just need to give it another listen.

this is an album that grows with each listen. one is not enough. I personally like it a lot more than Laughing Stock. It's the openness that mesmerizes me. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
