How many albums on your chart do you give this elusive score? Which albums, and why? Do you believe in it at all? What percentage of your total collection do you give this highest achievement to?
Personally, I define a perfect score in the same way Pitchfork does. It doesn't have to be 100% "filler"-free. Heck, it doesn't even need every track to be amazing. But over dozens of listens, it has built a cohesive "intimacy" with me that cannot be undone by time.
On average, it has taken about 1-3 years for the average "Perfect Score" about to achieve that elusive ranking for me.
Currently, there are 32 selections on the list, which would mean that more than 1.5% of the albums I've listened to fit that. Is that a lot? What do you guys think?

I used to give any no-filler album 100%, even if some non-filler songs were only decent (7/10). Not anymore. But any filler will knock a few points off. I have 54 100's on my chart, but they're jumbled around. For some reason, what I rate the albums don't fit the chart's order. this may be because my rating of the album from 0-100 is based on how good the tracks are, and where it's placed on my chart is based on how the overall album sounded and not just each individual track.
btw, great list, and I love the Queensryche addition!

I think a have a problem in giving ratings to albums. It appears that I give perfect ratings very easily and I should be more judicious when doing that. I just rate an album based on how "I feel about it", and I think I tend to see the good side of things, as a result I often give high ratings. Of the 524 ratings I gave on BEA, 148 were 100/100 (28%) (although I've listened to more albums than that), and my average rating is 91. So I just find it a bit strange, because I see most users generally don't give that many high ratings.
But anyway, I don't care.
