Anybody else excited about the upcoming season of SNL? I've never been so excited about one before. The massive amounts of new talent, plus Cecily Strong getting promoted to Weekend Update leaves me thrilled about it's chances this year.

My favorite of the new featured players though has gotta be Noel Wells:

It's never about the quality of talent. It's all about how that talent plays together, and how good the writing is.

I'm pumped. I was worried because a lot of my favorites have left, but I'm optimistic about the talent that's there. Bobby Moynihan is still there, Taran Killam, Cecily Strong, Jay Pharaoh, there's a lot of talent all around. I'm excited.

Agreed, but Jay Pharaoh is sorely underused. He's one of the best impersonators they've had in a long time.
Plus, he has the ability to make nearly any sketch funny for me, simply by being in it.

Absolutely. I don't even know what the actual name of that sketch is, but the one where he's a principal, the "attention teachers and students" sketch, that they do at the end of the night when they do it, he makes that sketch hilarious. And his impressions blow me away. His Jay-Z, Denzel and Will Smith are dead on. I hope they use him more this season.
