THE SMITHS!!! 😁 Who doesn't love The Smiths? I mean, aside from their detractors. Anyhow, this is a solid debut from one of the best bands ever!!!

This is a weird category to throw it in, but this is probably my favorite eponymous album. Maybe ATE. (I also don't count The White Album). Point is, it's very, very good.

Excellent record, both brilliant and grim (those lyrics!), very classical and yet daring (that falsetto on "Miserable Lie"!). "Hand In Glove" is better with the harmonica than without.
