As in you never just listen to a single song on your iPod nor do you skip tracks. The entire album must be listened to in one sitting. This thread will probably end up as a list of concept albums.

Locust Abortion Technician - Butthole Surfers (no, I never listen to Human Cannonball alone)
The Pod - Ween (I think a lot of people have an opposite sentiment on this, many people I know say you should listen to it 3 or 4 songs at a time)
Mount Eerie - The Microphones (and maybe The Glow, Pt. 2)
Spiderland - Slint (only as of recent, fuck you KIDS soundtrack)
Paranoid Time - Minutemen (lol)
Geogaddi - Boards of Canada

Almost applies
In The Aeroplane Over The Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel (This seems to apply for a lot of people, but I randomly pluck out songs all the time)
Dopesmoker - Sleep (The live Holy Mountain sucks ass)

I'm sure this forum is full of people who will likely almost only listen to every album in one sitting.

^^ Exactly.

When I was a kid, I'd sit on the floor in my bedroom, listening to just the same few tracks from CDs on loop, while skipping over the ones I didn't like at the time. Then, when mp3s became the way to consume music, I'd download only certain songs and listen to music that way. But, as the years passed, and especially as I got obsessed with vinyl, I realized that -- for me -- full albums were the only way to really have the full experience of the music.

There are very, very few albums that I skip songs on now (I can't really even think of any), and listening to vinyl makes that too inconvenient to really be feasible. But, even when I'm listening to my ipod, I still prefer to listen to full albums.

Basically every album in my top 100. But in order for me to rate an album properly, I always listen to the whole thing unless I get kicked off the computer and can't finish the album.

Good to see you back round these parts, I watched Garden State the other day and thought of you (during The Shins scene) ๐Ÿซข

haha awesome. If my legacy on BEA is the Shins fanboy i'll consider it a raving success.

I also love the part when he takes his Grandfather's bike out for a spin with Caring Is Creepy playing in the background. Even without the Shins angle though I generally enjoy that movie.
