It's my favorite by him and one of my favorite albums ever. Very raw and authentic. His voice is awful, and that's why the record is so good.

Oh no you didn't!
I personally love his voice and think its great! But I can see how it is not pretty, but he does sing these songs amazingly.
This is my 3rd fave. I adore all his officially released albums and eps. I just feel The Wild Hunt and the EP Sometimes The Blues Is A Passing Bird are unbeatable. Oh and if you want a good example of how great Kristian Mattson's voice is listen to song "Love Is All" off The Wild Hunt.
This is the roughest of the 3 officially released LPs from this man. It's his debut. It's a remarkably organic sounding album.
Best Song: "The Gardner" "The Sparrow and the Medicine" and "Where Do My Bluebirds Fly?" _________________ -Ryan

I adore his voice. I just think it is ugly... but beautifully ugly. I mean, if you take someone in the street and make them sing, it will probably be ugly, but just ugly. Whereas this guy has a voice which shouldn't sound good, yet is one of the best I've ever heard. I don't know. It's amazing. Actually in the so-ugly-it's-beautiful style, I prefer him to Dylan (although Dylan's voice is one of my favorite too).

Oh hell yes.
Not as good as The Wild Hunt, but I still love this album.
Kristian Matsson is incredible, I love literally everything he's ever done. _________________ Progressive Rock
