A new flame- Simply Red (pretty much all of theirs because my mum would play them in the car all the time when I was small)

Heaven is a place on earth- Belinda Carlisle/Girls just want to have fun- Cyndi Lauper (I have an older sister and she'd always play these girly 80s songs in her room or at parties

Mmmbop- Hanson. reminds me of summer holidays and the joys of being 9 years old)

You get what you give- New Radicals (I don't know what it is about this song but it really takes me back)

Real Love (Beatles/Lennon) - John's music was a huge part of my childhood and this song pretty much epitomizes who he was. Brings me to tears sometimes.
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (Elton John) - Breakup song, the less said the better
Picture In a Frame (Tom Waits) - first dance at wedding
Long Day (Matchbox 20) - one of my old acoustic staples, reminds me of high school

Hello/Goodbye - Beatles. It came on every morning when my dad would take me to pre-school.

Miss you - Rolling Stones. Dad would hum, as a lullaby, when i was real small. took me years to finally discover what the song was.

Twist and Shout by the Beatles is the one that reminds me of childhood the most.

'Words' by FR David - one of the first songs I ever remember hearing (it would have been a hit song at the time, I think).

'Right In The Night' by Jam and Spoon - it reminds me of school discos. It's still a great track - possibly the peak of Eurodance.

There's loads more, but those two stand out.

They would have to be Kansas songs, so "The Wall" and "No One Together" and "Hold On" and "Play the Game Tonight" are the most nostalgic. But There was quite a bit of Sheryl Crow on the radio in my childhood. So I'll also list "Soak Up the Sun" and "All I Wanna Do."
