So as we all are music lovers and at times come accross music that just makes our heart pump and raises our breathing rate, I kinda wanted to start a thread of those moments when a new album just clicks with you and you have an eargasm. This usually happens for me with new music, by sometimes a revisit of something I haven't heard in a while does it for me.

There's always the album that you react to, oh that was pretty good or decent or whatever, but then there's that album that just blows your mind or you connect with immediately somehow, but some force of nature or cosmic aligning of the planets or something... something just clicks.

So here's my latest eargasm:

Anyways, I had that moment with Miles Davis's On The Corner this weekend. Glad I found this one. I love funk and this took it to a whole new level.

Before this time the last time I specifically remember an eargasm was the first time I listened to this:

First note of the first guitar solo in Rush's 2112, the end of Micro Cuts by Muse and the piano in the first verse of The Suburbs by Arcade Fire.

Or simply Stairway to Heaven.

Yesterday or rather last night when I took a walk and relistened to "Murmur" in celebration of its 30th anniversary. Although the whole album on listening I see is fabulous (thanks Drakomium for the suggestion...I saw the light) and the opener "Radio Free Europe" is one of the greatest songs ever written, the moment when I had an "eargasm" (hate that term" was on the song "Perfect Circle". I honestly consider that to be some of the most perfectly aesthetic and pure gorgeous moments I've ever heard. It feel sorta vulnerable, so human, really just a touching melody and song.
