Well a little late for theories now, but I will say every theory I heard, read, or thought myself was way off. Turns out it was very straight forward. I was actually a bit underwhelmed by the finale. It just seemed like there were so many possibilities for the Yellow King and his far reaching web, but it was simply lawnmower man. Don't get me wrong, Errol Childress was an incredibly creepy character, one of the eeriest characters I've ever watched as a matter of fact, but it felt like it was building to more than that. All of Rust's philosophical mumblings didn't end up being all that significant, and I thought for sure Marty's daughter and what happened to her would play some sort of role. And I thought that maybe one of them would end up being related to the Tuttles. There were even people talking about it breaking the 4th wall and the characters knowing they were in a show (very happy this wasn't the case, that would have been cheap). Maybe part of it's brilliance is that it made you think of all the possibilities, only to throw at you a straight forward conclusion.

The show/season ended up being more about Rust and Marty's relationship than anything else, which admittedly was extremely interesting. Overall though it felt like the build up was better than the climax...which once again reminds me that I can't get that girls ass when she was on the phone with Marty out of my mind.

Shit sorry if what I said ruins anything for you should have prefaced with spoiler alert I suppose. It's definitely worth a watch, though I understand when people say it's a bit overrated. I think people are just starving for something on the level of Breaking Bad since it ended. This was close, but fell a bit short. Tough to compare though with just an 8 episode season that resolves everything.

It's cool, I deliberately didn't read 😉 looking forward to it when I get the time.
