Machu Picchu is a great song. The rest, not so much.

Liked it a lot initially, but didn't find myself going back. Favorite is probably "Taken for a Fool."

I'm not a fan of The Strokes but I like this album.
Best tracks: "Games", "You're So Right", "Metabolism".

This album is wildly inconsistent (matter of fact I think I started a thread about wildly inconsistent albums as a result of how I felt about this one). The good songs are really good, but the bad songs are god awful. I strongly like/love probably two thirds of it, but the other third I fucking hate. Favorites include Machu Picchu, Two Kinds Of Happiness, Taken For A Fool, and Gratisfaction. They'll never reach the heights of their early career, but I do respect their reinvention.

It has its good moments, nostalgia with Under Cover of Darkness. Machu Picchu is a great tune indeed ! You're So Right, Taken For A Fool, Gratisfaction and Life Is a Simple Moonlight are quite all right ! _________________ That's right, I'm an Asshole

Maybe I'm the only one, but "Under Cover of Darkness" and "Taken for a Fool" are my least favourite tracks on this album ... _________________ "De gustibus non disputandum est"
