Okay so I was in the computing Suite at Uni and I was listening to Revolver whilst writing an essay (on Facebook) and this guy comes up behind me and gives my shoulder a bit of a shake and then quite forcefully asks me to turn my music down. I was okay with this however before I did, I took my headphones off and heard how loud it was... It wasn't very loud I mean you couldn't make out the lyrics more than a meter or two away. Anyway I turned it down feeling somewhat self conscious now and turned around to see a few people looking at me but the the main thing was that the guys or asked me to turn down the music was sitting at the other end of the room at least 10 meters away WTF I don't know how the hell he could have heard it! and even if he could it was the Beatles! who wouldn't want to hear them!? Ummmm sorry about that rant kinda ridiculous I know
If other people can hear your music, yes it's really inconsiderate. Good on the person who told you to turn it down, since most people these days are too shy.
The worst is when I'm on the bus and I'm listening to music and I can hear someone else's music over mine.. Seriously. Hope you like paying 5000 dollars for hearing aids in 10 years. Maybe the price will actually drop considering how much demand there'll be from people like you.
