One of the most important albums in my lifetime. I've talked about this album so many times about how it has affected me personally so I won't go into too much detail here, but it is an excellent record that made Arctic Monkeys one of the definitive bands of my life. _________________

I've never been able to fully embrace this album. I like it, but it has just never clicked with me. I'll keep trying.

Nah, they're alright live I think but this is by far the best thing they've done to me anyway, used to be in my overall chart but dropped out recently. 'Still Take You Home' and 'Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secured' are my favs. _________________

Not a fan. I need to relisten to it, tough, to check if I still have negative feelings towards it, but it's way too angsty for me. I'm not even sure it actually is, to be honest, that's just what I remember from it, trying to be really edgy and screams and wow, look at that, but finally being really uninteresting. Out of all the post-punk revival bands with acclaimed debut that appeared in the early 00s, AM is by a huge margin my least favorite, as I really like most of the other ones (Franz Ferdinand, Strokes, Libertines, Interpol, are there others?).

Incredible. I don't consider this angsty, much at all. The energy, songwriting, and delivery from the group is stellar.
At least half of these songs currently rank in my top 100 songs of all-time
Well, this is my #1.
