I think this has been talked about before but I've never actually seen it done I don't think. Was thinking it would be cool if we made a chart based on the collective taste of the people who are regulars on the forums and would be interesting to compare it to BEA's overall chart because I think it would be quite different.
Everyone who wants to take part can submit a list, which can be ripped straight from your current top 100 if you want, or tweaked however much you like. Also think it would be better for the sake of this list if people ditched the one album per artist rule so this can be an honest best albums ever regardless of artist, up to you though still.
Scoring could be the same as for the NME list (50pts for 1st, 1pt for 50th) or can be something different if anyone has a better idea. The more people take part the better so we don't have shitty albums getting 50 points from one user and breaking the top 20 or something stupid like that, so yeah get involved.
Don't post any lists yet just comment if you're interested or got any good ideas.
