Summary Info: Kraftwerk's fifth studio album, follow-up to the highly successful Autobahn, and predecessor to the highly acclaimed Trans-Europe Express. This is the first Kraftwerk album to be entirely self-produced in their own private studio (Kling Klang). One single, "Radioactivity," was released from the album.
Details on the implementation and chart selection process of "User Pick of the Day" can be found here and here, respectively. A chart documenting the previous picks can be found here.
I find many of Kraftwerk's releases to be robotic and a bit kitschy, especially compared to contemporaries like Cluster and Tangerine Dream. This album is listenable, especially the second half ("Uranium" is my favorite track), but I much prefer the follow-up, Trans-Europe Express.
